This is a cute children's story that both parents and adults will enjoy. Blue is getting a little sister and then when she is born, he helps to take care of her, learning what it means to be a bog brother. I love that this story is told in rhyme, which makes it perfect to read before bedtime and something that will engage younger children. But besides being a cute book, this one has a nice moral, or shows what older siblings should do for their younger ones.The pictures are beautiful, bright and colorful.
My only real complaint is that the images are so small in the kindle version. I would love it if they actually took up the whole screen and had the text embedded in them. But other than that, this is a good book.

What a beautiful book! I really enjoyed the story and illustrations. I was pleasantly surprised by the rhyming too!!
A timely story for a family with a new baby on the way. It is a great way to introduce a child to the fact that a sibling is on the way and what they can expect. The illustrations are great for the age group.

A great story for kids to learn about having a new sibling. Insightful and demonstrates excellent examples of behavior.
The story is adorable and so true to life. Blue's excitement about having a little sister is infectious. This would be a great book for parents having a second child to read to their first. My only criticism would be how the words were all over the place on the pages of my iPad. My first children's book rhymed also, so I am partial to rhyming stories.
This is an adorable story that can teach an older sibling how to behave towards an expected addition and how to behave with a younger sibling. The story has two parts before and after the birth. This allows the reader (listener) to see that Blue anticipates the arrival and the role he will play and that he does, indeed, perform as he said he would. These are lessons in consistency, honesty, and responsibility. The rhyme moves the story forward and invites the reader (and listener) to relax and enjoy the family. I think that kids will outgrow the story before they grow tired of it.
Time to wait and then time to see a new baby. This could be a brother or sister, but especially a sister.
If a Children's Zoo or Museum with the baby to be born, then this book is an exclamation. Some parents
allow touching or listening before baby comes. Even otherwise, it is an opportunity to know a secret.
It is a happy book one for a child to share with grandparents, adults, and friends, if appropriate.
